‘Samantha is a lovely person, she deserves all happiness’ says ex-hubby Naga Chaitanya

Tollywood actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were among the most loved star couples. The duo made their acting debut in 2010 with Gautham Vasudev Menon's Ye Maya Chesave and their love journey started thereafter. The duo tied the knot in 2017. 

However, the star couple parted ways in 2021 leaving their fans shocked and heartbroken. 

While several rumours have surfaced since their separation putting the blame on both, the duo has never blamed anyone. They parted mutually.

In his recent interview, Chay showered praises on his ex-wife Sam. During his interview with ETimes, Chay revealed about his current status with Sam and said, “Yes. It has been more than two years since we separated and a year since we formally divorced. The court has granted us a divorce. Both of us have moved on with our lives. I have tremendous respect for that phase of my life.”  

Further, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor said that unwanted media attention made things terrible. He said that the media buzz and rumours made things more awkward between them. 

"Samantha is a lovely person and deserves all the happiness. It is only when the media speculates that things get awkward between us. In the public eye, that mutual respect is taken away. That's what I feel bad about,” said Chay.

Well, recently, Sam made it to the headlines after she was spotted flaunting her tattoo of ‘Chay’ on her back.
