Bajrangi Bhaijaan is listed among the most successful movies of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan . Breaching several milestones, apart from a monstrous performance at the box office, the movie was loved by critics, haters, and all others. The powerful performance of Salman and Harshaali Malhotra (Munni) aided Bajrangi Bhaijaan to mint Rs 918 cr (worldwide lifetime gross collection).

The film was highly appreciated by all for its sensitive portrayal of India-Pakistan relations. Moreover, the emotional scene at the end of the movie where Pawan aka Bajrangi reunites with Munni was quite heart-touching. Though it was Pawan who set out for Pakistan to reunite Munni with her parents, without giving it a second thought, it was Chand Nawab (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who reunited the little girl with her parents.

However, Salman Khan and ace South filmmaker had other plans for the climax. As per their version, they had planned that Pawan must reunite Munni with her parents.

For the unversed, Rajamouli’s father V Vijayendra Prasad had written Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

During his recent appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, the Dabangg actor made a big revelation.

“I just thought in Bajrangi Bhaijaan climax and even (SS) Rajamouli pointed out to his father Mr Vijayendra Prasad that that visual was not supposed to be of Nawazuddin Siddiqui,” said Salman.

Further, he added, “That last visual of Munni going to the mother should have been Pawan’s, should have been mine. He, throughout the film, keeps saying, ‘Main chorr kar aaunga, main chorr kar aaunga (I will take her to her home).”

Well, it is not just Salman or Rajamouli who had such thoughts about the climax. Several fans and movie lovers must have thought of such a climax. Isn’t it!

Earlier, Salman had announced a sequel to the blockbuster. Reportedly, Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 also has been written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad. However, there are no other updates on the sequel till date.
