Though Sallu had an extended cameo in the movie as Aman, his character left an ever-lasting impression in the hearts of moviegoers. However, it is not just the movie lovers, even Kajol preferred to pick Aman as her life partner.

During a recent podcast with Humans of Bombay, Kajol admitted that her version of Anjali would have been different from the one presented in the movie.

Kajol was quoted as saying, “My version of Anjali would never be wearing a saree. She would be wearing those track pants and fab, expensive sneakers with it and make that look good.”

When asked if she would have picked Rahul (SRK) or Aman (Salman) in the movie as a life partner if it were to her, the B Town diva said, “On script level, maybe, I would have gone with Salman’s character, but in the film, if you watch the film, there is no choice about the ending, it has to be the way it is.”

Well, certainly Kajol’s choice seems to be great with clarity. Isn’t it?

Apart from clinching multiple awards, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai became the highest-grossing movie of the year. Apart from SRK, Salman, Kajol and Rani Mukerji, actors including Farida Jalal, Anupam Kher, Archana Puran Singh, late actress Reema Lagoo and comedy king Johnny Lever played pivotal roles along with Sana Saeed as a child actress.
