Prashanth Neel and Prabhas’ Salaar is one of the most awaited South Indian movies. After the massive success of KGF movies, Neel has become a hot commodity. On the other hand, the Baahubali star has remained a big Tollywood superstar for more than a decade now. He has a mass appeal and rules the hearts of Southern movie fans.

That is why as a director it is the responsibility of Neel to present Prabhas in such a way that the movie gets a massive response and his character justifies the level of stardom that the superstar has enjoyed to date.

And to ensure that the director has decided to take a bold decision. He has decided to play strategically around the mass image of Prabhas. Neel is well known for coming up with movies with exceptional narratives that have mass appeal. Taking the circumstances into consideration, the KGF director has decided to step away from conventional elements for the presentation of Salaar, especially where music is concerned.

He has decided to build up a massy image for Prabhas without taking the help of the usual marketing tactics that are driven by tantalising music. It is a big risk as using music and songs for promotions is a normal tactic and it is one way of making the audience get familiar with the movie as well as identify it separately from the rest.

However, by taking this decision Neel has shown that he has huge confidence in the storyline, his direction, and Prabhas ’ star power. So, as per the planning, the songs in Salaar will be in the background blended seamlessly with the narrative so that the entire cinematic experience is elevated. It is quite possible that Prabhas fans might get a bit disappointed with this decision as there will not be audio singles for Salaar.

But the background score composed by the renowned director Ravi Basrur is going to be highly impactful and compelling enough to match the intensity of the movie. Salaar will hit the theaters on September 28 this year.
