Prabhas to take a long break for surgery

Prabhas is very busy as of now. After Salaar promotion, he also has to complete shooting for his next with Nag Ashwin titled Kalki 2898 AD. Apart from that the Southern superstar is also shooting for another movie with director Maruthi and signed a new film titled Spirit with Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. So the crux of the matter is that Prabhas has a tight work schedule and work assignments that will take at least two years to complete.

Even then, he is going to take a break of a few months towards the end of this year. Prabhas has been going through knee injury trouble for a long time now but has been postponing his surgery due to work commitments. But after he has completed promotions for Salaar and shooting for Kalki 2989 AD by November 2023, he will be taking a break of a couple of months to undergo knee surgery.

After the surgery, he may not be able to return to work immediately. But that would be a much-needed break for the Baahubali star who is known for taking good time to complete a film. He gave 5 years to complete 2 movies from the Baahubali franchise. Saaho also took a long time to complete and release and through all this Prabhas was at ease.

But since he signed multiple projects like Adipurush, Salaar, Kalki 2898 AD, and more he has been sort of rushing from one work to another. The massive debacle of Adipurush has certainly affected his box office value to a big extent and he needs some time to contemplate his further move.

Hopefully, Salaar directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel will give him the superhit that the Rebel star has been looking for the last few years. Baahubali 2 was his last big hit and it is high time that Darling delivers another biggie with his next release.
