Rashmika Mandanna has already made her debut in Bollywood with Good Bye alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Now Rashmika is all set for her upcoming Mission Majnu with Sidharth Malhotra. Further, she has more projects in her kitty. 

Rashmika stepped into Bollywood after impressing fans with her stellar performance in different South movies. Fans also quoted her as the ‘National Crush’. Though she hasn’t yet achieved success in Hindi movies, craze for her remains high. Even Rashmika herself is in love with Bollywood. 

However, this has irked many. As it seems, the irked netizens are from South.

Recently, during the song launch of her upcoming Mission Majnu, scheduled to release on January 19, Rashmika seemed to be overwhelmed and she expressed the same during the event. 

However, a clip from the event is being massively shared on social media in which she says, “I think, Bollywood romantic songs are a thing. For me, while growing up, the whole time, romantic songs mean, it’s Bollywood romantic songs.”

“In south, we have mass masala, item numbers,” she added

Further, revealing her excitement, she said, “This is my first Bollywood romantic song and I am so excited because it is so good and I am waiting for you all to listen to it.”

But, this didn’t go well with a section of the audience. Irked over such statement from Rashmika, many have expressed their rage on social media.

“After #RashmikaMandanna Got Chance To Act In Bollywood, Now She Is Blaming And Downgrading Our South Industry! She Did The Same Thing To #Kannada Industry When She Got Offer In #TFI. What An Woman🙏🤮  Moral: Once A Cheater, Always A Cheater!” wrote one user. 

Another user wrote, “May be Your intention is different @iamRashmika. But if you want to elevate Bollywood romantic songs, Simply you should have limited your words to that point, There's no need of Comparing with south songs, masala numbers,bla bla...”

Meanwhile, fans stepped in support of the actress. 

“The position she has achieved today is due to her hard work and ability. She has made so many fans with her acting and her nature that people now call her #NationalCrush. She didn't named it herself. This name is given to her by the love of the public,” wrote a supporter. 

Another supporter wrote, “We Believe in you @iamRashmika  💗, You are our happiness, World everything. We all love you @iamRashmika”
