Actress Rashmika Mandanna remains in the headline every now and then for several reasons; be it for her blockbuster flicks, upcoming movies, Bollywood debut, or personal life. However, Rashoo rules the hearts of millions of youngsters as the ‘National Crush’. But, the Dear Comrade actress seems to have landed in trouble.

What triggered the controversy?

As per the latest buzz, Rashmika might get banned from Kannada Film Industry. Rashoo stoked controversy after reports of ‘ungrateful behaviour’ of the actress towards Kannada producer-director-actor Rakshit Shetty surfaced and irked movie lovers.

During a media conversation, Rashmika talked about her journey of becoming an actor. Though she made her debut with Kannada movie Kirik Party, produced under Paramvah Studios, she didn’t take the production house’s name, which was co-founded by her former fiancé Rakshit. Even Rakshit produced her debut movie.

This rude behaviour of the Pushpa actress during the interview with Curly Tales also irked several Kannada theatre owners apart from the Kannadigas.

For the unversed, while working on the project, the bond between Rakshit and Rashmika grew stronger, and later they got engaged. However, they parted for undisclosed reasons.

Even reports are abuzz that Rashmika said that she hasn't watched Rishab Shetty's Kantara. Though there is no authentic data backing the claims, this fumed many others.

Pushpa 2 and other movies to face ban in Karnataka!

Amid the controversy, several social media users have lashed out at Rashmika and called to ban Rashmika from KFI and her movies in Karnataka. A viral Tweet claims that KFI, theatre owners, and organisations will soon take serious action against the actress.

The Tweet read: “Kannada Theatre Owners, Organizations and Film Industry will soon going to take an action on #RashmikaMandanna! They may go to the extent banning @iamRashmika’s films permanently from #Karnataka. Worrying thing for #PushpaTheRule and #Varisu Teams.”

While Rashmika has several movies in a row, fans have expressed concerns over the matter.

Rashooo has ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ opposite Allu Arjun, ‘Varisu’ with Thalapathy Vijay, and Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ in the pipeline. However, Rashoo’s rude behaviour and remarks have triggered many to ban the actress and her movies.

Notably, Rakshit with his recent movie ‘777 Charlie’ struck the emotional chords of movie lovers across the country and has created a fan base. If the ‘call to ban’ campaign spreads like a wildfire in other states, then, indeed, the actress will land in major trouble.

Signs of ‘trouble’ cropping up

While several reports are abuzz about Rashmika landing in a tight spot following her statements, recently, signs of the troubles seem to have cropped up.

As per reports, Vijay and Rashmika’s Varisu is in trouble. AWBI Secretary S. K Dutta has reportedly sent a notice to the makers for using elephants for shooting without permission.

While Rashmika is trying her luck and leaving her charm in different industries, it seems, the industry in which she made her debut, will close the door for her.

Recently during a chat session with Gulte.com, Kantara fame Rishab Shetty was asked who among Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Keerthy Suresh, Sai Pallavi, and Rashmika Mandanna he’d like to work with in his next project.

In response to the question, Rishab said, “I decide my actors once I finish my script. I prefer working with newcomers as they come with no barriers.”

Rishab mentioned, Keerthy Suresh and Rashmika Mandanna’s names and said, “These actors, I don’t like them. But, I like the work of Sai Pallavi and Samantha.”

It is pertinent to mention here that, during the interview with Curly Tales before narrating the whole process of bagging her debut role, Rashmika revealed that acting wasn’t her first choice.

Here's what Rashmika said

Troubled over the growing hate for her on social media, Rashmika on Nov 8 penned a long note giving her clarification. Her post read: "A couple of things have been troubling me these last few days or weeks or months or maybe even years now and I think it’s time I address it. I am only speaking for myself – something I should have done years ago."

Well, time will reveal if Rashmika will land in huge trouble or not and if trouble mounts for the actress, her upcoming movies will definitely suffer.
