Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone divorce rumours rife; reason is disappointing

Koffee with Karan has always triggered a lot of controversies, fallouts, and even dreamy manifestations coming true. From Emraan Hashmi creating a stir by calling Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plastic to Kareena Kapoor Khan shamelessly trolling Priyanka Chopra Jonas for her diction, the catfights and spats have been quite open when the celebrities graced the controversial couch of Karan Johar’s show.

And as expected this season too the history has repeated itself. The first couple to appear on the show this season were Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Both of them happily shared the never-before-seen footage from their wedding and also revealed the times when they were dating each other, and how Ranveer proposed to Deeps.

While this conversation was going on, Deepika Padukone got a little candid. She said that when she met Ranveer Singh (during the shooting of Goliyon Ki Leela-Raasleela) for the first time, she had already come out of a painful relationship and hence was not prepared to get into another one. She kept on dating multiple people on and off while she was also seeing Ranveer.

Deepika said that while she dated others she kept on coming back to her current husband and in her mind, her soul was already committed to Ranveer Singh . Now this came as a shock even to the 83 actor who visibly looked upset on the show and said that this needs a bit of explaining and that they will have a chat on this later on.

Now rumours are adrift that these revelations by Deepika Padukone may lead to their divorce as Ranveer did not seem happy with what his wife said on the National show. However, since Ranveer proposed to his Bajirao Mastani co-star in 2015 before that he was well aware of what was going on in the life of Deepika.

So it does not seem at all likely that after knowing each other for almost a decade now, such petty things can lead to a divorce.
