Ranbir Kapoor's 'intense scene' deleted from Animal goes viral, fan says, 'Won't forgive Vanga'; watch

Ranbir Kapoor's Animal still remains the talk of the town even after seven months of its release. While the movie got heavily criticised for poor portrayal of women, misogyny and violence, it emerged as the 3rd highest-grossing Indian film of 2023 with Rs 917 crore. RK stunned everyone with his never-before-seen avatar and now, fans are excitedly waiting for its sequel, Animal Park.

Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. While some enjoyed every bit of the movie, others bashed it brutally for glorifying violence and misogyny. The action thriller was filled with violence and bloodshed. Though it received mixed reactions from the audience and critics alike, the criticism couldn't affect the box office collection.

While Animal still remains the topic of discussion among many, recently an intense scene from the movie, that was deleted, surfaced online. The video has stormed the internet leaving many shocked.

The viral clip shows Ranbir Kapoor heavily drunk. He pours himself another drink and is on a flight. In a drunken state, he walks to the cockpit and asks the pilot to get up. Then, Ranvijay starts flying the plane himself. Suddenly, the song 'Papa Meri Jaan' starts playing in the background.

Reportedly, this scene comes after Ranvijay brutally kills his brother-in-law.

Sharing the clip on X (formerly Twitter) a fan with the user name 'V' expressed an opinion on how the scene should have been a part of the flick. 

The fan wrote, "Not gonna forgive @imvangasandeep anna for removing this scene in the movie, it's a pure display of Ranbir showing his silence and agony after k*lling his brother, especially that lifting off at the end. #RanbirKapoor." (sic)

Several others also opined the same in the comments section.

One user wrote, "He himself Regrets it see the Komal Nahata Interview where he wanted to Restore the 3:30 hr movie back but Netflix had just changed its policy regarding Directors Cut that's why we couldn't see this scene."

A second user wrote, "If this is in the next part, it will have a better impact." (sic)

"We can also see his empty hands in this shot, Sandeep wanted to show he still had the knife he used to cut the throat in his hand till he reached his dad and then leave the knife in his dad's hand," wrote a third user. (sic)
