Ranbir Kapoor recently flew out of India from Mumbai airport with his mother Neetu Kapoor. What grabbed the attention was his airport look and the on-point layering that has become a must now that the winter has set in most parts of the country. But somehow this sartorial look appeared to be somewhat inspired by what his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif had worn during her recent airport outing.
The viral video clip shows Ranbir Kapoor in a neutral-shade ensemble. A beige long jacket, matching pants, and an all-black jumper completed his swanky look. Apart from shades the actor was sans any striking accessories and looked handsome and dashing while he hurried to catch his flight. His black jumper had a crew neckline, cinched cuffs on full-length sleeves, and a defining silhouette.
The matching cargo pants with button closers had side pockets with a mid-rise waistline. His beige long coat with notch lapels layered his overall black dress. But what stood out was the dark brown collar of that coat with full-length sleeves, padded shoulders, and contrast buttons.
Katrina Kaif aced something similar a few days ago
The Tiger 3 actress was clicked by the paparazzi a few days ago outside the airport in a simple beige and black ensemble. Her overall style was at leisure as she aced the layered look in jogger pants and a sweatshirt. As she posed for the paps at the entry gate of the airport, the entire outfit and style of Katrina Kaif became visible.
The jumper with a hooded round neckline had full-length sleeves, hem, and cinched cuffs with a relaxed fitting. The pants with the baggy fitting had a low-rise waist with side pockets and drawstring closure. It was certainly a coincidence that both Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were spotted in almost similar layered looks at the airport and many believe that it can be because they were from the same fashion designer.
