According to a report by ETimes, the makers are staying true to the original Valmiki text, where Lord Ram and Ravana don't encounter each other throughout the epic.
A source revealed to the portal that their world remains apart and their stories unfold in parallel. The duo hardly will come together on screen until the climactic battle, following Devi Sita's abduction.
The source added that according to the original narrative, Lord Ram learned about Ravana's existence after Devi Sita's abduction. And the two never meet until destiny brings them face-to-face on the battlefield in Lanka.
Though, reports were abuzz that Yash will have a few scenes with Ranbir, Sai Pallavi and Sunny, according to the narrative, the KGF star won't have any scenes with the Animal actor. Moreover, RK is currently busy filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, for which he has a certain look. And it is not possible for him to change his look to shoot for Ramayana.
On the other hand, Yash has already begun his month-long shoot for his part in Ramayana. Sai and Sunny are expected to join him within this schedule.
