According to the latest development, the title announcement video of Ramayana has been officially certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Reportedly, the title announcement video with a runtime of 2 minutes 36 seconds has been categorized with a 'U' certificate by the Mumbai regional office and it was cleared today (May 5, 2025). The applicant and producer listed is Namit Malhotra.

CBFC nod to the title announcement video signifies that Tiwari and his team are gearing up to begin the promotions of the highly-anticipated epic project. Undeniably, following this major development fans can expect the title announcement video in a few days.

Ramayana Made on 'Never-before-seen' Scale

Actor Kunal Kapoor, who is reportedly playing the role of Lord Indra in Tiwari's Ramayana, recently exuded confidence that the magnum opus will surprise the audience as it is made on a 'never-before-seen' scale.

During an interview with News18, Kunal said, "This is a very important film in our cultural history. It’s a really important part of our cultural ethos. I think it’s important that we have filmmakers and teams who can give it the kind of scale it needs. This is mounted at a scale that we’ve never seen before.”

He further added that Ramayana is going to be something very special that deserves the kind of film this story should have.

"I’m very excited about it. I think the audience is going to be surprised by what they see. It is going to be a spectacle on a scale that nobody has seen before. It will be very special. It’s set for release only late next year,” added Kunal.
