  • A video clip of the Ramayana set has surfaced online.
  • It reveals some interesting details.

The shooting of Ramayana helmed by Nitesh Tiwari has finally kicked off in Mumbai. Leaked photographs from the first day of the shoot confirmed that the movie is indeed happening after the initial setbacks. Now a video clip of the Ramayana set has surfaced that shows some interesting details. One can easily see the intricately carved pillars with small elephants and a corridor in the video that somehow resembles the carvings and constructions of the period from Ramayana.

While it is just a glimpse of the overall set built for the mythology-based trilogy, fans are too excited to get even a very small view since it now confirms that the Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi-led movie is indeed happening. According to reports on several social media accounts, the Dangal director is currently filming the gurukul sequence with child artists whereas the Brahmastra actor will join the shoot in Los Angeles next week for the 3D shoot.

Earlier there were speculations that the movie’s production was in the doldrums after Madhu Mantena and Allu Aravind left the film as producers. However, Namit Malhotra decided to step forward as the lead producer and now there are even rumours that KGF fame Yash who plays Ravan in the film has also decided to lend financial support to the flick.

While the movie has a massive star cast as it is based on one of the biggest epics of the Hindu community not much has been discussed in the media by the actors like Rakul Preet Singh, Lara Dutta, Sunny Deol , and others who have been roped in to play important characters.

Veteran film director Subhash Ghai, who is known for directing big hits like Ram Lakhan, Saudagar, and Taal, has now come forward to give a blessing to the entire team of Ramayana. In his social media post, the Hero director said that finally, someone from Mumbai has decided to produce Ramayan.
