Actress Raashii Khanna has been swaying movie lovers with her cuteness and onscreen performance. She made her debut with Madras Cafe with John Abraham but it was Oohalu Gusagusalade opposite Naga Shaurya that boosted her career.

The North beauty made her debut in the Telugu industry with debutant actor-turned-director Vasarasala Srinivas and has been predominantly working in Tamil and Telugu movies. However, did you know that if not for 'Oohalu Gusagusalade' she might have made her debut in magnum opus Baahubali and in a prominent character?

Yes, the actress recently during an interview revealed that she auditioned for Avantika's role in 'Baahubali: The Beginning ', which was played by Tamannaah Bhatia.

"I received an offer to play Avantika in Baahubali . I attended the audition. I was too cute in Rajamouli sir's opinion to carry this part. He said that I would make a good love story character. He introduced me to the producer of Oohalu Gusagusalade, a friend of his," Raashii was quoted as saying.

Undoubtedly, if Raashii had made her Telugu debut with SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, alongside Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati, her career could have reached different heights. But, destiny had some other plans for the actress. In her career spanning around 10 years, she has worked in over 27 movies. Recently, she was seen in an interesting role in Ajay Devgn’s web series 'Rudra' and also played a prominent character in the web series 'Farzi'. Well, not debuting with Baahubali couldn't majorly affect Raashii’s career.

Raashii impressed movie lovers with homely roles from the beginning of her career. However, she shocked everyone after her lip locks with Vijay Deverakonda in ‘World Famous Lover’.
