The shooting of Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Pushpa-The Rise is currently going on at a very fast speed. Now, it has been officially confirmed that the movie will be released in two parts. In the first part, Rashmika will play the female lead and will portray the role of his wife. While Bunny is doing a character of red sander smuggler, Rashoo will be a housewife.

Since the story of Pushpa is set in the backdrop of Chittoor, a village in Rayalaseema, both the Stylish Star and Rashoo took out some time to learn and master the typical Rayalaseema slang so that they can look authentic as a couple from the region.

Earlier, the flick was scheduled to release on 13th August. But due to the Corona pandemic, the shooting was delayed. Later on, Allu Arjun became Corona positive and the shooting had to be postponed further. Recently, the makers announced that Pushpa will release during Christmas this year. The Rangasthalam fame director Sukumar will be directing both parts of the movie. The first part of Pushpa will focus on the exploits of Allu Arjun’s character related to illegal trade whereas the second part will include sequences that will justify his actions.

The first teaser trailer of Pushpa titled “Introducing Pushpa Raj” was released in April this year in Hyderabad during an event at the JRC Convention Center. Recently, the makers announced that they will unveil the first single of this much-awaited movie on 13th August. The song titled Odu Odu Aadu is written by Viveka, sung by Benny Dayal, and is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

The background score for the movie is being composed by Resul Pookutty who won an Oscar for Best Sound Mixing for Slumdog Millionaire. The movie will release in multiple languages across India.
