Public review for Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Shaakuntalam is out

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s mythological drama Shaakuntalam is all set to hit the theatres on 14th April. However, the producers today arranged a special premiere for the audience at IMAX, Hyderabad, and a few media people, and the reviews have now started pouring in for the same.

Most of the fans loved Sam in the lead role and appreciated her beauty, poise, and elegance as Shakuntala. Even the chemistry between the Tollywood beauty and Dev Mohan has managed to impress the audience. Most of the reviews for the movie are positive including those for Gunasekhar the director who brought alive the epic love story of Shakuntala and Dushyanta so beautifully on the screen.

The movie is being released in 3D version and the audience has lauded the Shaakuntalam team for the smart use of technology.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has surprised her critics with this stupendous performance. The actress has not done a mythological role before but many fans who watched this special premiere have said that it seemed like a cakewalk for The Family Man Season 2 actress.

Allu Arjun is also eagerly waiting for the release of Shaakuntalam as his daughter Allu Arha is making her debut in movies with it. She is playing the character of young Bharata who is the son of Shakuntala and King Dushyanta and later on, becomes the King of the entire country known by his name as Bharat Varsha.

For Samantha, the movie is highly important as she is playing the titular role of Shakuntala. Her last movie Yashodha was released on OTT and her work in the film was highly appreciated. Next, she will be seen in Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda and Citadel with Varun Dhawan.
