Priyanka Chopra, SRK Almost Got Killed in Bomb Blast (Throwback)

Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan have created many memorable events onscreen and off-screen. But this one particular memory will be etched in their minds forever when they escaped a near-death experience. The incident took place in 2004 when the lead stars of Don were on a Temptation tour along with Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal, and other Bollywood celebrities.

According to Bollywood Life, these celebrities were on a tour to North Africa, the UK, and Europe, and several other countries and were' touring the continents with the aim to promote Indian cinema across the borders. During their stay in Sri Lanka, Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, and the team went ahead with the tour despite the fact that the Buddhist monks were not happy as it was supposed to be the death anniversary of one of the most popular monks in the country.

While the Bollywood stars were entertaining the audience during the concert, a bomb blast suddenly occurred and shocked everyone. As expected, it abruptly ended the concert and left all the stars and even the audience devastated. Later on, during an interview, PeeCee revealed about the bomb blast and said that the bomb blast took place when she and SRK were doing their last dance of the concert. First Priyanka considered that it was a smoke bomb after the deafening noise left everyone in shock.

But later on, when she went backstage to change her outfit, she found several bodies on the ground and there was a lot of chaos. The Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actress said that police had a tough time pacifying the crowd and all the stars were swiftly ushered into cars and made to reach the Colombo airport in haste.

It was quite a shock for Priyanka Chopra who later on realized that she and SRK were just six feet away from the place where the bomb blast had occurred. Nonetheless, the incident left PeeCee so devastated that she was in bed for the entire day after reaching Mumbai.
