Russo brothers are in India for promoting the web series The Gray Man which also stars South Indian actor Dhanush in an important role. The series started streaming on Netflix on 22nd July and also stars Hollywood actors Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Ana De Armas. During a press meet when the Russo brothers were asked to choose between Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Deepika Padukone for the new Captain Marvel, they had no hesitation in choosing PeeCee over Deeps.

And there is a strong reason for it. They are quite impressed with the desi girl who is already working with them for a web series titled Citadel. During the candid chat, the famous director-producer duo said that they have to choose Priyanka because they are big fans of the Bollywood superstar and also her good friends.

In yet another interview, the brothers praised the Quantico actress saying that she is an incredible star and very amazing. They were fairly impressed during the table read that they attended with her recently.

The Gray Man has been immensely successful and has indeed given international recognition to Dhanush. Now the Russo brothers have announced that they are planning a sequel with Ryan Gosling in the lead. Co-writer of the movie Stephen McFeely has already started writing for the sequel.

A spin-off is also in the pipeline and is being currently written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese who are famous for writing screenplays for Deadpool and Zombieland. While discussing the reaction of the audience to The Gray Man, Russo brothers said that it is nothing but phenomenal and they appreciate that fans across the world have shown so much enthusiasm for the movie. They added that since the movie has so many amazing characters, an expanded universe was always intended and that they are thrilled that Netflix wants to come up with a sequel with Ryan Gosling in the lead.
