  • The KGF director was seen performing a sacred ritual in which he recited the names of his family members
  • He also intertwined the name of his movie during the same recitation.

Prashanth Neel is a practical and religious man known to do pooja before the release of his movies. Recently he performed some unique rituals at a temple on the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. The KGF director was seen performing a sacred ritual in which he recited the names of his family members and surprisingly intertwined them with the title of his upcoming movie Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire.

Apart from that he also sought blessings from the Almighty for Salaar once again showcasing his deep commitment to his project and in this case, Salaar. The moment the video went viral netizens started showering praise on the famous director for his passion for his work and his determined and unwavering dedication.

The Prabhas and Shruti Haasan film was earlier scheduled to be released in September this year but now has been postponed. Incidentally, many believe that Hombale Films and Prashanth Neel did not want the competition Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire might face due to Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan which was expected to be one of the biggest blockbusters of all time.

However, reports say that the movie was postponed because there was a lot of work still pending on post-production, and since Prashanth Neel always believes in delivering the best he decided to postpone its release instead of letting it come out in September.

Now, reports are that part one of Salaar will hit the theaters on Diwali almost the same time when YRF’s Tiger 3 featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will start screening. So even though Salaar 1 will not face competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, it will have to face a big challenge from Tiger 3. Similar to Jawan, Tiger 3 is also one of the most awaited Bollywood flicks and it belongs to one of the most successful action franchises.
