Prabhas’ upcoming high-octane action movie Salaar is in the headlines since the announcement. After consecutive debacles of the Baahubali actor, fans are highly hopeful for the movie helmed by Prashanth Neel. As the release date is inching closer, anticipation is skyrocketing among fans. However, Neel has opted for some cautionary measures for Salaar.

Recently, a few clips from Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming Jawan were leaked online. As per the latest reports, five users were booked for allegedly leaking the clips and causing damage to the film. Even, it has been learned that Red Chillies Entertainment also initiated legal action.

Such recurrent breaches have raised awareness among several filmmakers including Prashanth Neel.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, Neel is extremely cautious and has taken precautionary measures to prevent stealing or leaking of clips from Salaar.

As per the portal’s report, the post-production work for Salaar is being carried out at a village in Karnataka to maintain secrecy.

Pinkvilla quoted a source close to the development as saying, “It’s a formidable task to safeguard films’ scenes and visuals as the leaks can originate from anywhere, despite all the implemented protections. Director Prashanth Neel has adopted a robust approach to protect the content of Salaar while it’s in post-production.”

The source continued, “He has relocated all post-production activities to Basroor village in Karnataka, where the studio of the film’s music director, Ravi Basrur, is located. While Ravi is overseeing background scoring and music composition, Prashanth is working on the trailer and overall post-production of the movie.”

On the other hand, the makers of Salaar have opted for a low-key promotional strategy.

Meanwhile, the makers are working on the trailer and have plans to release it in the first week of September. If the reports are anything to go by, the marketing campaign will expectedly kick off pan-India with the trailer launch.

Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire, scheduled for theatrical release on September 28, also stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand and Sriya Reddy in pivotal roles with Prithviraj Sukumaran as the lead antagonist. The movie will simultaneously release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
