Prashanth Neel to kick start Salaar 2 shooting without Prabhas

All sorts of rumours about Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar 2 have been making rounds for the last few weeks. Earlier there were reports that the sequel would not be made as the producers were hit badly because Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire underperformed and the collections were not so good. Then there were rumours that the makers were planning to rope in a Bollywood beauty for the sequel.

However, all this news came out to be false. Now the latest update says that Prashanth Neel will start shooting for Salaar 2 soon. Talking about kickstarting work on the sequel, the KGF director said that after directing KGF 2 he immediately started work on Salaar 1 and hence wanted a break from work.

That is why he took a break before starting his work on Salaar 2 and confirmed that the sequel is very much his priority. Albeit the team is going ahead with the shoot for the start without its superstar hero Prabhas . While Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam shoot will begin before June, the Baahubali actor is expected to join the star cast during July this year.

Earlier Neel confirmed that the sequel will be a highly intense drama with a lot of action in which Prabhas will flex his muscles against his enemies yet again. He has decided to complete this project within the timeframe of just 5 months and that is why Neel has been very meticulous when it comes to executing the pre-production tasks.

The famous director has decided to employ multiple film units at a time to ensure that both the shooting and post-production work for Salaar 2 is completed within the timeframe of 5 months. Post that Prashanth Neel will start shooting with Jr NTR for NTR 31. It will be made in two parts.

Earlier Salaar 1 fame Prithviraj Sukumaran who recently played the antagonist in Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan created a ripple on social media with a cryptic post suggesting that Prashanth Neel might introduce a cross-over of universe in the sequel. There is a strong possibility that Yash as Rockybhai might share the screen with Prabhas in Salaar 2 whereas Jr NTR’s character from his upcoming movie might be introduced in the sequel.
