Prabhas-starrer Salaar already a blockbuster! Scripts history with highest overseas rights?

The hype around Prabhas ’ high-octane action-packed Salaar has reached the zenith. Movie lovers have pinned high hopes on Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, also starring Shruti Haasan , as after Baahubali series, everyone is anticipating a blockbuster from Darling. 

Scheduled for theatrical release on September 28, fans have been eyeing official updates of Salaar. Meanwhile, a recent buzz suggests that Salaar has already scripted history with the highest overseas rights.

As per the buzz, Salaar’s overseas rights have been sold at Rs 90-100 crore. If the buzz is anything to go by, with such a massive figure, the Prabhas-starrer has topped the list of Tollywood movies with the highest overseas rights deal.

Reports suggest Prabhas’ Baahubali 2: The Conclusion topped the list earlier with Rs 70 crore. While SS Rajamouli’s RRR remains at the second spot with Rs 68 crore, again Prabhas’ Saaho is at the third spot with Rs 42 crore. Again, Radhe Shyam, also starring the Chatrapathi actor, is in 4th place with Rs 25 crore.

Even rumours have been abuzz that KGF-fame Rocky Bhai aka Yash will have an extended cameo in the movie. Certain other reports have almost confirmed Yash’s cameo in Salaar. As the extended cameo of Salman Khan in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan worked as a lucky charm and the movie turned out to be a blockbuster, fans are certainly excited to witness Yash’s appearance in Salaar.
