Continuing its successful run in theatres, Kalki 2898 AD has entered the glorious club of Rs 1000 crore. And, with this, Prabhas has scripted history to become the only Indian actor with two movies in the Rs 1000 crore club after Shah Rukh Khan, who has Jawan and Pathaan in the list of Rs 1000-crore club. The rare milestone achieved by Darling aka Prabhas has elated fans and they have started online celebrations with high excitement.

First, it was Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and now it is Kalki 2898 AD. Well, if the trend continues, Prabhas will beat Jawan and Pathaan's lifetime collection and script another milestone very soon. However, with this achievement, the Billa actor has added another feather to his cap.

Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the movie also features Amitabh Bachchan as the immortal Ashwatthama and the veteran actor is flooded with praises for his powerful performance. The flick also stars Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.

With its spree of breaking multiple box office records, Kalki 2898 AD has surpassed the lifetime collections of several movies.

Expressing his excitement, Ashwatthama aka Amitabh Bachchan took to social media and wrote, "my love and greetings to Vyjayanti Films for making me a part of this venture." (sic)

Undeniably, the dystopian science fiction film has created mass euphoria with its visuals, set up and scale. The magnum opus is a visual spectacle that has driven movie lovers crazy. The sci-fi flick has been creating an unstoppable wave of excitement among movie enthusiasts and social media is getting flooded with reviews of fans.

Kalki 2898 AD explores a fictional future in Kalki – the 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu. The characters of Prabhas and Amitabh are directly inspired by Mahabharat. The biggest twist comes in the form of Prabhas with the climax revealing that Bhairava could be a reincarnation of Karna.
