Kalki 2898 AD and Salaar Sequels Put on Hold?

According to a recent report by Hindustan Times, Prabhas has put Kalki 2898 AD and Salaar sequels on hold. The Baahubali actor will now reportedly focus on standalone movies.

The report states that a source close to the team revealed that Prabhas wants to wrap up his standalone projects first and then move to the sequels.

After The Raja Saab, Prabhas To Focus On...!

Reportedly, Prabhas is not yet done with The Raja Saab. He still has two songs to shoot, which he will do soon. After wrapping The Raja Saab, he will focus on Hanu Raghavapudi's period drama Fauji. As per reports, the Darling star has completed only 50 per cent of Fauji. He is expected to wrap up the shoot soon. Following that he will begin Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit, also starring Triptii Dimri and has allotted bulk dates for the same. He will likely shoot non-stop until mid-2026.

If the recent report is anything to go by, Prabhas doesn't want to rush with the sequels and wants to dedicate maximum time. For that reason, he has pushed the sequels ahead. Once he is done with the standalone projects, he will dedicate his full time to the sequels.
