Kannappa: Prabhas to have a 30-minute extended cameo!
The countdown has begun for one of the highly-anticipated mythological drama flicks- Kannappa. Helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu, the movie is based on the legend of Kannappa, a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva. Notably, Vishnu Manchu stars in the titular role of Thinnadu alias Kannappa. Moreover, moviegoers are eagerly waiting to witness the powerful cameos of Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar and Prabhas in the movie. Akshay Kumar will be essaying the role of Lord Shiva while Kajal Aggarwal will be seen as Goddess Parvati. On the other hand, Mohanlal will star as Kirata and Prabhas will portray Rudra's role. The first looks of these actors have elevated the excitement among all.

Reportedly, the editing of Kannappa was a difficult task for the team. After thorough editing, the team has locked a runtime of 3 hours and 10 minutes to ensure a balanced pace and flow. According to the reports, major chunks of Prabhas' role were removed to keep the film tight. The makers emphasised that the trimming of sequences, including those of major stars, was done thoughtfully to maintain the integrity of the story and ensure audience engagement.
If the reports are anything to go by, Mohanlal's brief cameo of 15 minutes promises to deliver strong emotional depth that will enhance the overall narrative.
