Pathaan: Shah Rukh Khan to face tough competition from Kartik Aaryan, Rajkumar Santhoshi

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is all set to release on January 25. Be it the controversial song Beshram Rang or its latest trailer, things are going the right way for this YRF movie as the reactions have built up sensational hype around it which is necessary to draw an audience to the theaters.

The movie is important not only for YRF which has faced huge losses with its big releases like Prithviraj, Shamshera, and Jayeshbhai Jordaar, its equally important for Shah Rukh Khan who is returning to the silver screen after a gap of almost 4 years.

A few days ago the trailer of this Siddharth Anand-directed movie was released and received huge appreciation from the critics as well as SRK fans. And now trailers of two other movies have also been released.

The trailer of Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s Shehzada based on Allu Arjun’s big hit Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has been received well by audience. Already the first look of Koki from the movie has received big thumbs up from the netizens. The Dhamaka actor has also stated that the movie is going to be a bigger hit than his last superhit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

The trailer of Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming movie Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh has already hit the internet and many have stated that the trailer is just mind-blowing and gives goosebumps. The movie will release on 26th January, just a day after Pathaan releases in theaters.

So, the competition is going to be tough here. While Pathaan is led by big names like SRK, Deepika Padukone, and YRF banner, Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh is helmed by none other than the National Award-winning director Rajkumar Santoshi known for films like Ghayal, Damini, Lajja, Khakee, and so many others.

Even though Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada arrives almost a fortnight later on 10th February, the trailer and songs of the movie are sure to steal a lot of limelight from Pathaan.

Besides, this Shah Rukh film is facing a boycott trend. Taking into consideration the growing popularity of the Luka Chuppi actor and the previous body of work of Santoshi, things are not going to be easy for Pathaan at the box office as expected earlier.
