Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has scripted history with his roaring comeback in Pathaan. Continuing its powerhouse run globally, Pathaan topped the global box office in terms of gross collection in just 12 days on Sunday. Along with smashing box office records, the movie is having a historic run in theatres in domestic as well as overseas.

Now, Pathaan has achieved a new milestone of becoming the first Bollywood movie to reach the $100-million milestone without even a China release.

The makers of Pathaan, who currently must be on cloud nine following the colossal success, have decided to reduce the ticket price of the movie at national chains.

Yash Raj Films (YRF) has decided to reduce the ticket price to make the cinema-going experience more affordable, reported cine critic and movie analyst Taran Adarsh.

As a result, the ticket price on weekdays will be similar to the weekend rates.

Pathaan, also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in prominent roles with Salman Khan’s extended cameo, had a roaring opening day with a gross collection of over Rs 100 crore. Amid the boycott calls and several controversies, the SRK-starrer managed to script a history leaving several Hindi movies behind.

While fans are yet to get over the hangover of the action-packed movie, the hint about its sequel, Pathaan 2 , has fuelled excitement and anticipation among many.

Notably, Pathaan being a part of the YRF Spy Universe franchise, SRK will have an extended cameo in Salman’s upcoming Tiger 3. Even, speculations are rife that Hrithik, Salman, and Shah Rukh might share screen space in one movie under the franchise.
