Pathaan 2 update: When and where will Shah Rukh Khan shoot the sequel, check details

The release date of YRF Spy Universe's next project- War2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani is inching closer and fans can't wait to see the epic on-screen faceoff of the superstars. The next Spy Universe flick in the pipeline is Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh and Bobby Deol-led Alpha. Well, a recent report suggests that the makers have already started work on the next project before both highly anticipated flicks hit the theatres. Reportedly, the team has started chalking out the strategy to kickstart Pathaan 2 with Shah Rukh Khan.

When and Where Will SRK Shoot Pathaan 2?

According to the latest report, Shah Rukh Khan will shoot Pathaan 2 in Chile next year.

The report by Mid-Day states that filmmaker-actor Anshuman Jha met the president and the delegates of Chile, including Carolina Arredondo, the minister of culture and arts.

Moreover, the President of Chile, His Excellency Gabriel Boric Font, during his trip to India, landed in Mumbai. He reportedly discussed the possibilities of filmmakers highlighting the beauty of Chile through their projects.

Jha said to the portal, "There are concrete conversations of Pathaan 2 by Yash Raj Films and Lakadbaggha 3 being shot in Chile next year.”

Further, he added, “I hope we help His Excellency’s vision of bringing the beauty of Chile to the world through our cinema.”

Earlier Reports on Pathaan 2

According to earlier reports, Pathaan 2 will serve as a twist to the Spy Universe and it will predate Tiger Vs Pathaan by setting up the epic clash between the two cinematic legends (SRK and Salman Khan). The idea of the sequel was immediately pitched after Pathaan's release in 2023. Aditya Chopra and SRK decided to spin Pathaan into a standalone franchise too within the Spy Universe.

Moreover, Anil Kapoor has signed a multi-film contract with YRF and he will remain constant in all movies under the Spy Universe. His affiliation will begin with War 2, followed by Alpha and Pathaan 2.
