Pathaan 2: BIG South Superstar Likely to Join Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone!

Ayan Mukerji's War 2 has remained the talk of the town ever since the announcement of Jr NTR joining Hrithik Roshan. Fans are eagerly waiting to watch Hrithik and Jr NTR in action. Well, amid the mounting excitement for War 2, the recent reports of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's Pathaan 2 elevated the thrills among moviegoers. Adding fuel to excitement, a recent report claims that YRF is planning to rope in a BIG South Superstar in Pathaan 2.

YRF's Spy Universe is one of the biggest and successful cinematic universe of Indian film industry, which started with Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger. With Pathaan and War, YRF Spy Universe got bigger. Moreover, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh-led Alpha is a major addition to the universe.

Well, according to the latest buzz, YRF is planning to make it much bigger. Cine critic Siddharth Kannan on Saturday shared a post on X which read, "#Pathaan2 is getting BIGGER! @iamsrk is back, @deepikapadukone likely to return, and #AyanMukerji might direct! Part of @yrf’s Spy Universe, this sequel could feature a MASSIVE South superstar!" (sic)

His post further read, "SRK has offered a RECORD-BREAKING deal to bring him on board! Who do you think it is? If finalized, #Pathaan2 will be the FIRST EVER film to unite two PAN-INDIA MEGA-STARS!" (sic)

His post accompanied a poster featuring SRK in his Pathaan look. However, authenticity of the poster couldn't be verified.

However, the post received mixed reviews. While SRK's fans expressed their excitement in the comments section, several others seem to be least interested. Meanwhile, a few went on to guess the 'superstar' who is likely to join SRK in Pathaan 2. While maximum number of users have put forward Allu Arjun and Prabhas name, a few others also suggested Yash and Ram Charan's name.
