  • Pankaj Tripathi has been busy these last few days promoting his movie Main Atal Hoon.
  • During an AMA, he gave an interesting reply to a question from a social media user.

Pankaj Tripathi is currently busy promoting his recent release Main Atal Hoon- a biopic on former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The reviews are good and as expected many people have appreciated the work of Pankaj. Recently during a social media session, the Mirzapur actor replied to some questions from the netizens. While some answers from the popular actor were very general and related to his work and the current movie, one particular reply caught everyone’s attention.

Pankaj Tripathi has a very direct approach to PR

One of the social media users asked the OMG2 actor about his opinion on PR tactics since many celebrities are into using PR to stay relevant in the media. The user memer_duo_01 asked, “I mean actors do have a PR team and aapke pass be hogi hi. Lekin itna heavy involvement of PR and Papz ... just for staying relevant on the internet... it is a bit weird.”

In reply Pankaj Tripathi said, “PR aapko charchit bana sakta hai. Yaadgar aap apne kam se hi ban sakte hai.” Many hailed this reply from the famous actor calling it a profound line and wise words. A few even taunted that the nepo kids will never be memorable or iconic and that dimwits in the industry will never understand.

PR machinery of many big superstars is very huge and many times they aggressively remove unwanted messages from social media that are against them. Even YouTubers and social media influencers are forced or paid to write in favour of their movies and body of work.

However, what Pankaj Tripathi has said is true to the core. It is the work that will continue to stay and make the actors memorable. Many of the so-called stars who became extremely popular due to active PR machinery vanish into oblivion after a short time since only talent can sustain and thrive while mediocrity cannot succeed for long.
