News Highlights

  • TMKOC and Anupamma receive the highest rating from Ormax this week.
  • The list reveals that reality shows are more popular than serials.

Ormax ratings for the last week are out and they show that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is at the top followed by Anupamaa. TMKOC has been losing its good actors in the last few years, but even then it has managed to generate a good response and win the hearts of the audience.

That can be the reason why the producer Asit Kumarr Modi is in no mood to compromise with his seasoned actors and has decided to replace them with new actors.

Anupamaa with its twists and turns, Anu and Anuj Kapadia’s life post marriage, and Toshu and Kinjal’s marital discord continue to keep the audience hooked and hence is at the second position in the Ormax rating.

Surprisingly, instead of popular serials like Imli and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, the top 10 list now includes big reality shows. Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 is at the 3rd spot followed by Indian Idol 13 which made its debut on Ormax rating this week.

It has just been two weeks and the music reality show is already in the top 5. On the 5th spot is The Kapil Sharma Show which has returned on Sony Television with a new season and along with many new actors. So, the characters and presentation are different from the regular and are expected to offer good laughter to the viewers.

On the 6th, 7th, and 8th spots are the regular serials like Kundali Bhagya, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Radha Mohan. Amitabh Bachchan-led Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 is on the 9th spot. The show got its first crorepati yesterday when a housewife Kalpana Chawla won a huge amount and surprised everyone with her knowledge.

On the 10th spot is earlier hot favourite serial Kumkum Bhagya that used to be at the top. So, the list shows that reality shows are dominating the serials while all-time favourites like TMKOC and Anupamaa continue to reign supreme.
