The celebration has already begun on social media and in the Indian cine industry to commemorate Millennium star Amitabh Bachchan's 80th birthday. 

Film Heritage Foundation will organise a 4-day long film festival, titled, "Bachchan Back to the Beginning." The festival will be organised in association with PVR Cinemas across 17 cities from October 8 to 11. 

Meanwhile, fans of the legendary actor are quite excited to celebrate the big day as the date is inching closer. 

Born on October 11, 1942, Big B, who is an institution in himself, has been ruling Indian Cinema for over five decades now. So far, he has worked in over 200 movies. 

The tall and thin man with a baritone voice made his debut with ‘Saat Hindustani’ in 1969. But, it took four years to set his feet in the industry even though he had left an impression in the minds of movie lovers as Dr Bhaskar Banerjee. 

In all these years, he has left a trail of iconic performances in different roles, be it action, comedy, or any other genre. It is not just acting, the legendary actor also has proven as a singer, driving every movie lover crazy. Big B boasts a huge fandom across generations and across the globe.
