NTR30: Jr NTR opens up about his upcoming with Janhvi Kapoor

Young Tiger Jr NTR must be on cloud nine with his entire team of RRR after clinching the most prestigious award, the Oscars, for Naatu Naatu under the original song category. However, the actor stole the show with his ethnic look in a black bandhgala embedded with a golden tiger.

While the excitement remains high among all Indians after the RRR team bagged the Oscar Award, Jr NTR has opened up about his upcoming which has fuelled the excitement among all.

Jr NTR’s upcoming, tentatively titled NTR30 , is one of the much-anticipated movies that fans are eagerly waiting for. After winning the hearts of movie lovers with his stellar performance in RRR as Komaram Bheem, Jr NTR will make a comeback to the big screen. Even, expectations among fans are sky-high as Jr NTR has teamed up with Koratala Siva for his next.

While makers are yet to release any updates, Jr NTR has finally broken his silence. 

"I am working on an untitled film (NTR30) directed by Siva, one of my close friends. I’m going to start shooting on March 29th. I am sure that movie will excite you as much as RRR did. Looking forward to it,” Jr NTR was quoted as saying.

Further briefing about the project, he said that the shooting will commence this month in Hyderabad with a launch ceremony and a formal puja. Earlier, reports were abuzz that the team will go on floors in February and the launch ceremony was scheduled on February 24. However, it got postponed following the demise of Taraka Ratna.

Earlier on March 6, the makers of NTR30 welcomed Janhvi Kapoor on board as the female lead. The makers made the announcement on the actress’ birthday along with a poster of Janhvi donning her look in the movie. While Janhvi had earlier expressed her desire of working alongside Jr NTR in a south movie, NTR30 fulfilled her dreams. 

Moreover, reports are abuzz that Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is roped in for playing the antagonist in the movie. However, there is no official confirmation backing the claims.

NTR30 bankrolled by Hari Krishna K and Sudhakar Mikkilineni and produced under NTR Arts and Yivasudha Arts banner, the movie is tentatively scheduled to release on April 5, 2024. While Anirudh Ravichandran will musically decorate the movie, the makers have targets of releasing it pan-India.
