‘No one owns her'- Rashmika Mandanna fans support her decision amid new controversy

Rashmika Mandanna is at the peak of her career. With back to back hits like Pushpa 2 and Chhaava and a mega movie with Salman Khan-Sikandar, she is bound to go places. And when a person becomes huge, they are cornered or criticised for choosing what is best for them.

It is a known fact that Rashmika Mandanna started her career in movie with Kannada film Kirik Party. However after that she has been working in Tamil, Telugu and now Bollywood movies. She has been often accused for not supporting Sandalwood industry by Kantara fame actor Rishab Shetty. And it seems now even politician have also decided to target Rashmika Mandanna for the same.

Congress MLA called out Rashmika for insulting Kannada

A few days ago a Congress MLA from Kannada Ravikumar Gowda Ganiga called out the Dear Comrade actress for insulting Kannada. According to him, she must be taught a lesson for disrespecting Kannada. Talking to ANI, Ganiga said, “Rashmika Mandanna started her career in Karnataka by debuting in the Kannada film Kirik Party. Last time when she was invited to the Film Festival, she had said that she would stay in Hyderabad."

He then added, “One of our MLAs went to her house and invited her several times but she spoke so rude about Kannada despite growing from Kannada land. Shouldn’t she be taught a lesson or not?"

Fans take stand for Rashmika Mandanna

Die-hard Rashmika Mandanna fans are not happy with these allegations and have taken a stand for her. One of the social media users said, “No one owns her.. She is free to attend any event as she want lol.” Another user added, “Nah good that she didn’t attend. Why to attend an event knowing the people there dislike and abuse you?”

Most of her fans have called the remarks by Ganiga a political stint to trigger controversy now that Rashmika Mandanna has become a big name. One of the users have remarked, “These politicians always look for the most trending person to target and get in spotlight for their nonsense, leave her tf alone.”
