Iron Man
Hollywood actor Robert Downey Jr is synonymous with his iconic characters of Tony Stark and Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Fans were left disappointed after the makers brought down the curtains on his iconic characters. Meanwhile, his reentry into the MCU as Doctor Doom has received mixed reactions. On the other hand, fans are hopeful that the makers will bring back Downey as Iron Man. Even, the actor seems to think so.
As per a recent report, Robert Downey Jr said that he intends to 'sue all future executives' who allow an AI-created version of him as Tony Stark/Iron Man.
During a recent episode of the 'On With Kara Swisher' podcast, Downey said that he doesn't want his likeness (Iron Man/Tony Stark) recreated by Artificial Intelligence.
The Oscar-winning actor said, "I am not worried about them hijacking my character's soul because there's like three or four guys and girls who make all the decisions there anyway and they would never do that to me, with or without me."
When Swisher said that the executives would be replaced in future, Downey said, "Well, you are right. I would like to state here that I intend to sue all future executives just on spec."
When Swisher said, "You'll be dead," Downey replied, "But my law firm will still be very active."
As per earlier reports, Robert Downey Jr turned down the offer of making a cameo in his iconic character of Iron Man in Deadpool and Wolverine, while several other Avengers were seen in the movie. Well, later it was clarified that returning back to the MCU as Doctor Doom, Downey turned down the offer. While some opined that Doctor Doom could be a variant of Tony Stark from another universe, the actor clarified that the supervillainous character is not a variant.
Downey will be seen as Victor Von Doom in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
