‘Woh masti kar rahi thi’--Neil Nitin Mukesh reveals BTS experience with Katrina Kaif Watch

Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham worked together in a movie New York released almost a decade ago. While Katrina had become a star at that time, Neil had just started his career with Johnny Gaddaar. During an interview the Bollywood actor recalled his experience of working with Katrina Kaif in New York and the initial difficulties he faced during the shooting.

‘I just get teary-eyed’- Neil Nitin Mukesh

During an interaction with his fans, Neil Nitin Mukesh was shown some old clips from the days of New York’s promotions and shooting with Katrina Kaif . From riding on his back to teasing him, Kats seems to be doing a lot of masti and enjoying bullying him a lot. When a fan asked Neil, “What is the feeling” the actor replied, “Oh Man! I just get teary-eyed. New York is one of my favourite films. Aaj bhi agar mujhse koi puchta hai ki aapki filmography mein, aapne itne saare film kiye hai toh Jahir si baat hai ki kabhi koi moment aisa hota hai ki aap kiss film ke bare mein jyada sochte hai.”

“I think New York ek aisi film thi jiske bare mein aaj bhi agar jab bhi sochta hun toh aankhe bhar aati hai. Not kyunki film itni badi hit thi aur you know aaj tak logon mein resonate karti hai but kyunki jiss pyaar se hum sabne usse banaya aur jiss kisam ki dosti yaari hui woh to aap dekh hi rahe the. Aaaj bhi jab bhi koi bolta hai ki koi ek film bole jiske bare mein aapke vision mein bahot clarity hai ki iss film ko banate samay kya moments the toh main kahunga ki main New York se aaj tak hila hi nahi hoon,” he added.

He even said that a small part of Neil is still with New York movies and he may not be able to recreate such moments again.

Neil and Katrina Kaif bonded well during New York

Both the actors-Katrina Kaif and Neil bonded well during the shooting of this movie. When asked what were those special moments he spent with Kats, Neil said, “Katrina and I.. pehele din hum jab mile the toh hum bilkul dost nahi dushman ban gaye the. Pehela scene hamara saath ho raha tha aur ladai pe ladai pe ladai. Har bar cut kiye ja rahi thi toh main bhi puche jaa raha hun ki problem hai kya. Toh phir malum pada ki mere rang se unko problem thi.“

“Mere kirdar se jo main kar raha tha problem thi. Toh kuch na kuch woh masti kar rahi thi aur main naraaz ho raha tha kyunki main aa raha tha ek intense Johnny Gaddaar se aur dosri film hai ye. Padha hun acting main. Language acche se janta hun. Obviously mere se woh bahot badi star hai aur uss samay bhi thi,” he added.

Later on the misunderstanding was resolved and according to Neil Nitin Mukesh if ever there had been any bonding between a male and female actor in the purest form it was between him and Kats on the sets of New York.
