Nayanthara will most probably replace Kareena Kapoor Khan in Yash's Toxic

Kareena Kapoor Khan who called herself a KGF girl on Koffee with Karan’s last season has left Yash’s Toxic allegedly due to date issues. Rumours are adrift that she has decided to step back as her payment demands were not accepted by the makers. Now there are strong rumours that South Indian lady superstar Nayanthara will replace Bebo in Toxic helmed by Geethu Mohandas.

According to Pinkvilla, Geethu is in talks with the Jawan actress for Toxic and has offered her the role of the KGF star’s sister in the movie. The source says that the development and conversations that have taken place in the last few weeks are going in the right direction. The leading media portal has added, “Nayanthara has shown her interest in doing Toxic and the logistics are being figured out at this point. It’s a well-sketched character of a sister and suits her image of a strong woman. Nayanthara is impressed that Geethu Mohandas has written such a strong character for a female and she is connecting well with her vision.”

The source has also informed that both Yash and Geethu Mohandas are very eager to get Nayanthara on board for Toxic. It says, “The talks are on, and the team is working collectively to get the logistics in place. If everything goes well, the makers will have Nayanthara on board in a fortnight.”

For the unversed Kiara Advani has already been confirmed for playing the female lead opposite Yash in Toxic. Geethu Mohandas is a National Award-winning director and hence fans have high expectations from Toxic as it will be the first release of Yash after the phenomenal success of movies from the KGF franchise.

Toxic has been scheduled to hit the theaters on April 10, 2025, and the shooting for the same has already started. The tagline for this movie says, “A Fairy Tale for Adults” which has intrigued many Yash fans.
