Nayanthara Confirms Engagement #Watch

Putting all speculations about her engagement to rest, South Diva Nayanthara has finally confirmed her engagement with her long-time boyfriend and director Vignesh Shivan.

Rumours of the engagement was doing rounds for quite some time now after the filmmaker had shared a cozy moment of both of them on his Instagram handle in which Nayanthara was seen resting her hand on his chest wherein she had flaunted a ring.

Following this, there have been rumours of their engagement and marriage. However, the couple had not confirmed or declined the reports.

However, recently, the lady superstar admitted that she is engaged to her long time beau Vignesh Shivan on a television talk show.

In the promo of the talk show, which has now gone viral on the internet, the host questioned Nayathara about the ring to which the actress candidly replied, "This is an engagement ring."

To everyone's surprise, Nayathara openly confessed it is her engagement ring and didn't hesitate a bit rather she was smiling and quite happily spoke about it.

Notably, the couple started dating while they were working on Naanum Rowdy Dhaan which was released in 2015. Their fans have been rooting for them and have been waiting for their union. With the news of their engagement, they are super excited and now waiting for their marriage.

On the work front, Nayanthara will be next seen in a Tamil thriller ‘Netrikann’ directed by Aval movie fame Milind Rau. The move is being produced by her beau Vignesh Shivan under his banner Rowdy Picture.

The south actress will also be seen in Shivan’s next directorial Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal which also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha.
