Lady Superstar Nayanthara is known for her enigmatic personality and she rarely shows her emotional side to anybody on camera. She is known to be thoroughly professional and keeps her personal life separate from her work.
However, recently in an interview, the south diva opened up on her family and was rather emotional about it. Nayan broke down during the interview while speaking about her dad's health condition.
During the interview, when the host questioned one thing that she would change if given an opportunity to turn life around and change a thing. Nayanthara broke down and said that she would want to change her father's illness and see him healthy like the old days.

Nayanthara was in tears as she spoke about how it has been 14 years since her father has fallen sick. Besides, he is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital. He was admitted to the hospital after his condition deteriorated.
"My father was an air force officer. He has been sick for the past thirteen years. He has to be taken care like a small child. I haven’t said this anywhere, because this is my privacy. I have always seen my father as a very perfect man. I remember my father in uniform, all set to go for work. He is now in a bad condition and is in the hospital,’ she said.
Nayanthara also credited her father for instilling discipline, hard work and punctuality in her. She said that her father is the hero in her life and the main reason behind what she is today.
Her only wish now is that he gets better and see him healthy and happy just like in the olden days, said an emotional Nayanthara.
Notably, during the interview, the Bigil actress also opened up and confirmed her engagement to director Vignesh Shivan. She said it was a low-key ceremony with only family members and close friends as they are private people. However, the Nizhal actress said that she would inform fans about her wedding when it takes place.
