Rhea Chakraborty (R), Sooraj Pancholi (L)
In a significant development in the investigation into the death of Disha Salian, an FIR (First Information Report) has been registered against several prominent personalities, including Aaditya Thackeray, a Shiv Sena politician, and Bollywood actors Rhea Chakraborty, Dino Morea, and Sooraj Pancholi.
The complaint has been accepted by the Mumbai Commissioner of Police and the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime).
Disha Salian, a noted celebrity manager and former manager of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, tragically passed away on 8 June 2020. Her death, reportedly due to a fall from the 14th floor of a high-rise in Malad, Mumbai, has remained shrouded in mystery. The timing, just days before Sushant Singh Rajput's own death on 14 June, prompted widespread speculation and demands for a thorough probe.

Disha's father, Satish Salian, has strenuously pursued justice, consistently seeking legal intervention. He had previously approached the High Court aiming to file an FIR against Thackeray and others. His current legal strategy includes a fresh appeal for a CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) probe, voicing concerns over possible political meddling and suspicious elements surrounding his daughter’s demise.
The FIR lists nine accused, including Aaditya Thackeray, Rhea Chakraborty, Dino Morea, and Suraj Pancholi, alongside Suraj Pancholi's bodyguard, as well as former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh and dismissed officer Sachin Vaze. Nilesh Ojha, the advocate representing Satish Salian, alleges that those named were part of a conspiracy and a significant cover-up effort.
Documents included in the FIR purportedly suggest links to a drug racket, implicating Thackeray. Advocate Ojha further claims that Parambir Singh orchestrated the alleged cover-up to protect influential figures.
