From cold wars to standing in support: How SRK, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan Equations changed over the years

Salman Khan’s Sikandar is all set to hit the theaters on March 30, 2025. While due to security reasons Dabangg Khan has restricted his promotional activities, he has been spotted a couple of times for promotions including during the screening of the movie recently. What is more interesting is the fact that Aamir Khan has now teamed up with Salman and director AR Murugadoss to promote Sikandar interestingly.

Khans and their cold wars are now things of the past

Decades ago when Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir, and Salman Khan were at their peak and trying to grab the best projects, and big banners and create a position for themselves, things were not so well between them. Rather the cold war between SRK and Aamir is so well known. From the Lagaan actor indirectly calling Shah Rukh his dog to the Darr star criticising Aamir Khan’s promotions of 3 Idiots a Chicchorapan, things were pretty bad.

Also Aamir and Salman Khan never saw an eye to eye when they were shooting for Raj Kumar Santoshi’s Andaz Apna Apna and the director had a lot of trouble getting the scenes right. Coming to SRK and Salman Khan, the equation was very good at the start with Salman’s family giving good support to a struggler like Shah Rukh.

But after the infamous Katrina Kaif's birthday party and the fight that took place between these two big superstars things changed suddenly. Both of them stopped talking with each other for many years. Years later, the two mended their ways and now are very good friends.

Khans are now supporting each other

In the last few years, all the three Khans- Salman, Aamir and Shah Rukh have been facing setbacks in their career. The good thing is that the trio has now decided to support each other so that they can continue to rule the Bollywood the way they have done until now. When SRK was facing career setbacks, Salman Khan helped him by making a cameo in Pathaan. Salman’s entry as Tiger was one of the major highlights of the movie.

Similarly, recently when Aamir Khan’s son Junaid made his Bollywood debut both Salman and Shah Rukh joined him for the screening and promoting it. And now Sikandar is on the verge of release, Aamir Khan has teamed up with the director of the movie and Salman to promote it aggressively so that Sikandar can become a huge blockbuster.
