Marvel Cinematic Universe's latest series Ms Marvel streaming on Disney+ is quite elating for fans in India as Bollywood director, actor and producer, Farhan Akhtar has been roped in as Waleed.

Recently, a clip from the episode was shared on the official social media accounts of Marvel Entertainment that revealed Farhan's character. The video opens with Aramis Knight as Kareem/Red Dagger leading Iman Vellani as Ms Marvel into a mysterious location. After crossing the passage, the duo entered a big hall. While the two were interacting, they were interrupted by Farhan as Waleed.

While Ms Marvel seemed to be quite impressed with her surroundings, Kareem says, "Usually tourists are not allowed." Waleed interrupting the duo said, "But for a descendant of Ayesha's I'm sure we can make an exception."

Following this, Farhan introduced himself, "My name is Waleed. Your great-grandmother's story is of a legend. When you are ready, we have much to discuss."

Fans flooded appreciation for the Bollywood actor and appreciated MCU for bringing him on board. Many also lashed out at Marvel Studios for a major focus on Pakistani actors while roping in Indian actors to target a larger population of India.

The Twitter caption for the video reads, "My name is Waleed." Check out @FarOutAkhtar and Aramis Knight in a brand new episode of Marvel Studios' #MsMarvel, streaming tomorrow on @DisneyPlus"

However, the team made a big blunder by just copying the text from Twitter and pasting it into the YouTube video description.

@FarOutAkhtar is Farhan Akhtar's Twitter ID but "FarOutAkhtar" certainly doesn't make any sense. However, later realising the mistake, the team updated the video description on YouTube and rectified the error.

Ms Marvel is the sixth live-action Disney+ series set in the MCU, following WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye and Moon Knight. The web series has become a topic of discussion for its portrayal of south Asian culture and music. A few days back, Millennium Star Amitabh Bachchan responded to a post about his song from the film Don, which has been used in the series.

Notably, Farhan is doing a cameo role in the web series that has been recently creating a buzz.
