Ranbir Kapoor is the talk of the town since the trailers of his upcoming movies, i.e. Brahmāstra and Shamshera are driving everyone crazy. Fans are quite excited to see their favourite actor on screen after a long gap of 4 years. 

The Kapoor lad has carved a niche in Bollywood with his splendid performances. His remarkable performances in movies like Wake Up Sid, Rajneeti, Rockstar, Barfi, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and the last but not the least Sanju, can't be ignored. Ranbir drove everyone crazy with his impeccable acting in Sanju in 2018 which was the last movie in which he stepped into the shoes of superstar Sanjay Dutt. Sanju gave Ranbir the much-needed boost to his career and made a way to grab more spectacular movies.

While fans are eagerly waiting to see Ranbir in theatres, the back-to-back releases of the trailers of his upcomings Brahmāstra and Shamshera have enthralled everyone. Following the two most anticipated movies, Ranbir also has three more movies in the pipeline. It seems that with the movies in 2022, Ranbir's era will begin.

Brahmāstra promises new a new horizon

Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva is a fantasy adventure flick that will witness the pairing of new parents-to-be, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt for the first time ever, who had tied the knots only two months back. While fans of the duo were anxiously waiting to watch the duo on-screen, the recently released trailer of Brahmāstra has levelled up the excitement. 

While the movie brings several biggies from different industries, the visuals, VFX, BGM as well as the story plot seems to be promising. And indeed, the chemistry between the lovebirds will be a treat to watch. However, the twist comes when the secret about Shiva's power is revealed. The excitement mounts with the revelation of all other power-protectors. Brahmāstra is the first-of-its-kind movie in Bollywood and also comes with a cinematic universe of its own. 

This could be a new horizon of Bollywood which could help to win back the 'lost' trust in Hindi movies. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres worldwide on September 9. So, stay alert to book your tickets at the earliest to explore the world of Shiva and his quest to find Brahmāstra. 

Sanju vs Sanjay in Shamshera

Ranbir got showered with praises from all quarters after stepping into the shoes of Sanjay Dutt in the latter's biopic and nailing his character. This was the first all-time blockbuster from the Kapoor lad. While the movie lovers got amused with the trailer of Brahmāstra on June 15, YRF dropped the trailer of Shamshera on June 24 which fuelled the excitement among all.

Apart from Ranbir's never seen avatar, it was more exciting for the fans to watch onscreen Sanju locking horns with the real Sanjay. While Ranbir will be seen in a double role for the first time, Sanju baba will be playing the antagonist as Daroga Shudh Singh. The KGF actor's look is quite menacing and his merciless actions seem to be more horrific than Adheera. The trailer was hailed by movie lovers and the entire team has pinned high hopes.

Dutt on Monday shared a video in which the helmer, Ranbir as well as he himself is seen narrating their experience with the movie. 

"I share a relationship and Ranbir was a very small child and he was growing up. Even for me, to fight with him, I used to get very concerned," said Dutt.

Meanwhile, Ranbir said, "Sanju sir always wanted me to do these kind of films, he wants me to play the hero. When I signed this film, he was so excited; he said, this is the kind of films I want Ranbir to do."

Later, Sanju added, "I think he has got that persona, got the swag, the look, and vulnerable. He can do romance, and comedy. So, I think, we should touch all the aspects."

Well, certainly everyone is waiting eagerly to explore more about the story and witness the epic clash between Sanju and Sanjay.

Shamshera is scheduled to release on July 22.

Ranbir to romance Shraddha in Luv Ranjan's untitled

Meanwhile, Ranbir also is busy shooting with Shraddha Kapoor for Luv Ranjan's untitled flick. The movie is tentatively scheduled to release in Holi 2023, and the shooting is in full swing. However, there is no official update about the movie. 

Ranbir in Animal with Rashmika Mandanna

Ranbir also has been roped in for Animal opposite 'National Crush' Rashmika Mandanna. Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor will also be seen in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial venture. A few days back, a video took the internet by storm that showed Ranbir and Rashmika shooting on a roadside location.

Andaz Apna Apna 2 with Ranveer Singh

1994's comedy film Andaz Apna Apna starring Aamir Khan and Salman Khan tickled the funny bones of many. Now, Ranbir will be seen with Ranveer Singh for the first time in the sequel, Andaz Apna Apna 2. Earlier, director Rajkumar Santoshi had revealed that he is working on the script. However, there are no more updates regarding the movie. 

Bollywood to restore dignity, day not too far...!!!

Lately, Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has set a new benchmark after running successfully for over 40 days and crossing Rs 430 crore mark. However, Hindi movie lovers are still anxious if the Bollywood filmmakers will be able to bring back the audience to the theatres or not.
