  • The Family Man season 3 will revolve around a Chinese mission Guan Yu

The Family Man 2, which hit the OTT platform recently, is receiving overwhelming reception and positive reviews from both fans and critics. However, like season one, The Family Man 2 ended in a cliff-hanger leaving the audiences anxious about what will happen in the next season.

Now, Manoj Bajpayee, who plays secret agent Srikant Tiwari in the series, has hinted at the release date of The Family Man Season 3.

While talking to an entertainment portal, Manoj revealed that it might take one-and-a-half years or more than that for the third season to be ready to stream.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Manoj said, “Nothing at this point of time. There is a lockdown, we cannot even meet up. There are no writers in office, everyone has gone to their hometowns. Raj and DK are also not together right now. Let the world open. When the world opens, and once we get the green-lit, we will work on it. The story is with them, once it gets a go ahead, it will turn into a screenplay. If everything goes right, it will still take another one and a half year or more, for the third season to be ready.”

The Family Man 2, which was released on June 4, ends with a tease about season three. In the last scene, a mysterious person sitting in Kolkata is getting ready for a Chinese mission Guan Yu, which is likely to hit the northeast region of the country.

So, The Family Man 3’s storyline may revolve around the COVID-19 situation and a deadly mission in the northeast region of the country.

However, fans may have to wait longer, as directors of the series Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are also likely to work on another series starring Shahid Kapoor before they began working on season three.
