Mahesh Babu's look for SSMB29 disclosed! 'Prince' spotted sporting long hair, watch

The buzz around Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu's next with SS Rajamouli, tentatively titled SSMB29, is quite high these days. While fans are eagerly waiting for the updates on the much-awaited movie, recently 'Prince,'  as fans fondly call him, was spotted sporting long hair. And it is believed that this new look is for SSMB29.

On September 23, Mahesh Babu along with his wife Namrata Shirodkar met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The star couple donated Rs 60 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to help the survivors of the recently hit flood. While the couple donated Rs 50 lakh, the actor donated an additional amount of Rs 10 lakh on behalf of AMB Cinemas.

Well, the superstar's new look caught everyone's attention as Mahesh Babu is known for not changing his looks for his films. However, Rajamouli seems to be an exception. The recent pics of the superstar in his new look have taken the internet by storm and fans are going gaga.

SSMB29 is touted to be the biggest pan-India movie. Moreover, the flick is rumoured to have a budget of Rs 1000 crore. Speculations are rife that SSMB29 will be similar to the Hollywood adventure series Indiana Jones. While the writing is completed, the team is in the pre-production stage. However, the cast for the movie is yet to be locked.

If the latest rumours are anything to go by, the shooting for SSMB29 will begin sometime around August 2025. It is expected that an official announcement regarding the cast and shooting schedule will be made soon.

Earlier, Rajamouli had said that SSMB29 would be a globetrotting adventure. The film has various episodes, including one in Africa. Even fighters from Vietnam have been hired for the film.

SSMB29 will focus on themes related to Lord Hanuman. The movie will be shot in the dense jungles of Africa. Furthermore,  VFX will be extensively used to bring its ambitious vision to life.
