Last words of Samantha’s father on her divorce with Naga Chaitanya go viral after his death

Samantha is presently reeling in the pain of losing her father while her former husband and Tollywood heartthrob Naga Chaitanya is getting married to the love of his life Sobhita Dhulipala.

While Samantha and Naga’s divorce announcement had sent shockwaves among fans, they are equally pained on hearing about the death of the former’s father Joseph Prabhu. Samantha’s father shared an close bond with Naga Chaitanya and the Akkineni family.

Like fans, he too was heartbroken on learning about Samantha and Naga’s divorce. His tragic death amidst Naga’s second marriage has fans recalling his last words on Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s divorce. 

Taking to Facebook, Samantha’s father had shared poignant feelings about the divorce which has now resurfaced following his death on Friday.

Sharing a heartfelt poem, Joseph wrote, “Long Long ago, there was a story, and it doesn’t exist anymore! So, let’s start a new story; and a new chapter!”

His FB post accompanied photos from ChaySam’s wedding, which Facebook had brought up as a memory. His poetic expressions had struck a chord with fans, who flooded the comments section with messages of support.

Speaking about the divorce, Joseph said the news felt ‘like bolts from the blue’ and took him time to process. He wrote, “It took me a long time to overcome my emotions and feelings. Life is too short to sit down with feelings and get bogged down.”

Samantha was married to Naga Chaitanya for four years after years of dating before she finally announced her separation just a few days before their anniversary in 2021. 

While Samantha is battling a rare disease and focusing on her career, Naga is all set to marry actress Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4.
