Kumar Sanu dated THIS actress for 5 years amid rift with first wife?

Bollywood's popular playback singer Kumar Sanu spread the magic of love with his soulful voice. With a career spanning over three decades, Kedarnath Bhattacharya (Kumar Sanu) evoked emotions with his romantic ballads. His voice defined the 90s romance and his songs touched the hearts of the listeners. Though there are not many songs of the legendary singer, his songs can be still found in the playlist of music lovers.

However, the singer who filled love in the hearts of people faced challenges in his personal life, particularly in marriage. While fans are well aware of his first marriage to Rita Bhattacharya (a psychologist) and his second marriage to Saloni Sharma and the related controversies, recently an actress claimed that she dated Kumar Sanu for around five years. Moreover, she also claimed that they were living as 'husband and wife'.

During a recent interview with Siddharth Kanan, Andaaz actress Kunickaa Sadanand claimed that she dated Kumar Sanu for five years in the 90s.

During the candid interview, Kunickaa revealed that they met during a shoot in Ooty while she was trying to set her feet in the industry. She claimed that Sanu came for a vacation at the hill station with his sister and nephew.

According to Kunickaa, Sanu was dealing with a challenging time on a personal level. He even attempted to jump from the hotel window while being drunk. However, they brought him down. As they held him, he cried over his issues. This incident brought them close.

After the trip, Sanu lived separately from his ex-wife Rita. Amid this, Kunickaa's bond with the singer became stronger.

"I was like a wife to him. I considered him my husband," said the actress.

Further, she also said that she was the one who motivated him to take care of his fitness and fashion during the peak of his career.

However, the situation became difficult when Rita was angry over the delay in receiving financial support for her children. Rita smashed Kunickaa's car and screamed outside her house. 

Later, Sanu and Kunickaa parted ways and the singer married Saloni, his current wife.
