For the past few months, the hunt was on for the female lead for famous Southern director Shankar’s upcoming mega movie with Ram Charan in the lead. The casting team continues to be on the lookout for actors for different roles in the yet-untitled flick. But the main decision was the selection of an actress for the role of the leading actress.
Earlier there was a strong buzz that Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in opposite Ram Charan in this movie. But now the name of Bollywood diva Kiara Advani has turned up in connection with this movie. According to reports, the Kabir Singh actress has been finalized as the leading actress for top director Shankar’s next that will be bankrolled by Dil Raju.

The announcement was made by the production house today to mark the birthday of Kiara Advani as she turned 29 yesterday. Confirming the same, The Ghost Stories actress said that there can be no better birthday present for her. She further added that she is nervous and well as eager to work with some of the most renowned and experienced names in the movie industry.

Kiara Advani already worked with Ram Charan in Vinaya Vidheya Rama which was released in theaters almost 3 years ago. The movie failed to do wonders at the box office but fans loved the chemistry between the Good Newwz actress and the Telugu superstar. She also starred opposite Mohan Babu in Bharat Ane Nenu which received a good response at the box office.

Kiara Advani has also starred in multiple Tollywood musical videos and has a good following in the Southern region. The actress currently has Shershaah with rumored beau Sidharth Malhotra lined up for release next.
The movie is slated to release on Amazon Prime on 12 August 2021. The actress has been regularly sharing new video clips and promos from the movie. She is also part of Bhul Bhulaiyaa 2 which has Kartik Aaryan in the lead and Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan.
Her last two OTT Releases, Laxmii and Indoo Ki Jawani failed to impress the audience but it has not affected the popularity of Kiara Advani who continues to be the most loved actress of Bollywood today.
