Shweta Tiwari is currently in Cape Town shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi season 11 and fans are excited to see her return on the small screen. Amidst the show preps, the social media brawl between Shweta and her ex-husband Abhinav Kohli has also intensified to another level as now the court has ordered a hearing on their matter on May 24th.
Earlier, the popular telly actress had shared shocking CCTV footage of the couple fighting and dragging their 4-year-old son from each other on her Instagram. After which the NCW (National Women of Commission) interrupted in the matter. NCW had tweeted sharing an article on Shweta Tiwari’s CCTV footage against Abhinav and wrote, “@NCWIndia is perturbed by this reported incident and has taken cognizance of the matter. Chairperson @sharmarekha has written to DGP Maharashtra asking to immediately into the matter and take appropriate action in accordance with the law.”
Following this, Kohli shared the screenshot of the NCW’s tweet on his Instagram account, and wrote, “Respected Chairperson, I have not done anything wrong. I beg you to please request DGP Maharashtra to investigate into the location of my son and hand him over to me.”
Now as per the latest development, the court has finally given a nod to hear Abhinav’s side of the story, he shared and also stated that he will soon be appearing in the court.

Meanwhile, if as per Abhinav’s statement on Instagram if the court proceedings start on May 24, 2021, and the high court orders both Abhinav and Shweta to appear in the court, she might have to return from Cape Town.
As Shweta Tiwari is busy shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi, she has not commented on the matter as of yet. It is now to see if Shweta will have to return from the shoot midway if the court orders. However, if the court allows it, her lawyers will be able to go forward with it as she continues to shoot for the show.
