KGF helmer Prashanth Neel is currently riding on success with several projects in the pipeline. The director rose to fame and drew the attention of the world with his magnum opus KGF Chapter 1. Following that, anticipation among all for KGF Chapter 2 has reached the zenith.
Currently, Prashanth is counted among the ace directors of the south industry and is quite busy with big projects with the biggies of the industry. Though Prashanth as well as Rocking Star Yash were big figures in the South Film Industry and had an existing fan base before the release of KGF Chapter 1 in 2018, they were not so known in other parts and craze for them was in limits.
Under such circumstances, Prashanth and Hombale films dared to launch a pan-India movie. And the risky move didn't go in vain. KGF Chapter 1 received huge applauds from movie lovers across India and the craze crossed boundaries. The first instalment of KGF series broke several records and the rest is history.
However, many are unaware as to what made Prashanth and Homable Films take the risky move? Certainly, many fans and movie lovers might be eager to know the reason.
"To pan-India market, first of all, you need a big budget and a big star. So, he (Yash) came in automatically into the project," revealed Prashanth.
"I had seen his movies earlier and I was a fan of his. So, when you are a fan of an actor, it is easier to work with him," added Prashanth.
As per reports, KGF Chapter 1 started in 2016 and at that time in Yash was the only actor who had 50Cr box office collection and several hit movies of the industry to his account.
The intuition of Prashanth and Homable Films hit the 'bull's eye' as with KGF Chapter 1's success, the entire team is now basking in glory even after 3 years of the release of what is considered a landmark movie of all times.
Anticipation for KGF Chapter 2 is scaling up high with every passing day though the fans were consoled after the much awaited announcement of KGF Chapter 2 final release date. Movie lovers beyond the boundaries as well as across the country are waiting for April 14 with high excitement to witness Rocky Bhai rebuilding his empire in Narachi and his tough tussle with Adheera, Inayath Khaleel, Ramika Sen and the government authorities.
